太极班开课日期：每周六3/14-5/9 (3/28, 4/4 放假）共7课

上课时间：9:30-10:30am

2.         南加州中文学校联合会即将举办春季学术比赛，内容有个人组的朗诵、说故事、演讲与简报比赛，以及团体组的朗诵比赛。比赛内容与年龄限制。如果有兴趣参加的学生，请跟自己班上的老师报名，但是一旦报名，就是一个承诺，需要好好的练习。

Dear PVCS Parents,

1.     Fitness Qigong – Baduanjin Tai Chi Class will begin soon.

Dates: Saturdays, March 14 – May 9
(No class on March 28 and April 4) – 7 sessions total
Time: 9:30–10:30 AM
Fee: $20

Please wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes.

2.     The SCCCS Spring Academic Competition is also coming up. Events include Recitation, Storytelling, Speech, Presentation, and Group Recitation.

Please check with Principle for details and age requirements.
Interested students should sign up with their classroom teacher. Registration is a commitment, so students should be prepared to practice.

新年快乐！

学校的 50 周年校庆即将到来，学校会制作一本 50 周年纪念刊物，内容将收录各班级的合照。

因此，我们预计本周六由各班学生跟老师一起合照，敬请家长让孩子穿着学校制服，周六正常到校上课。

此外，如有家长希望在纪念刊物中刊登广告，也请尽快与学校联系。

50 周年校庆活动当天亦将安排抽奖活动，若有家长愿意捐赠礼品、礼卡或现金红包，我们将非常感谢，也请与学校联系。

另外，全美中文学校联合总会举办 “马年春节贺年卡设计比赛”，详细参赛资讯请参阅附件，报名截止日期为 1 月 31 日。

Happy New Year!

As our school’s 50th Anniversary is quickly approaching, we will be producing a 50th Anniversary commemorative publication, which will include class group photos.

To prepare for this, we have scheduled class photo sessions with teachers this Saturday. We kindly ask parents to ensure that students wear their school uniforms and attend school as usual on Saturday.

If any parents are interested in placing an advertisement in the commemorative publication, please contact us as soon as possible.

In addition, a raffle drawing will be held during the 50th Anniversary celebration. We sincerely welcome and appreciate any parents who are willing to donate prizes, gift cards, or cash gifts, and please feel free to reach out to us for coordination.

Lastly, the National Council of Associations of Chinese Language Schools is hosting the “Year of the Horse Lunar New Year Greeting Card Design Contest.” Please refer to the attached flyer for participation details. The submission deadline is January 31.

附件為本校明年 50週年校慶晚宴 的宣傳頁，歡迎大家邀請親朋好友共同參加。活動是晚宴用餐形式，在旅館最大的ballroom舉行，舞台背景是LED螢幕，實際支出的費用是比我們跟大家收取的費用還高，所以我們才會有其他贊助攤位與廣告的募款項目。這是學校走入半世紀的歷史時刻，老師和學生們也都如火如荼的在準備這次的活動，希望大家能儘早登記付款，把握 Early Bird 早鳥優惠，以協助學校能及早準備相關訂購事宜。

各班老師也將會陸續與家長聯繫 2 月表演所需的服裝與道具，感謝各位家長的支持與協助！

Attached is the promotional flyer for our school’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Banquet next year. We warmly welcome everyone to invite family and friends to join us. The event will be a dinner banquet held in the hotel’s largest ballroom, featuring an LED screen as the stage backdrop.

Please note that the actual event costs are higher than the ticket prices we are charging, which is why we are also offering sponsorship booths and advertisement opportunities to help fundraise.

This marks a historic milestone as PVCS enters its 50th year. Teachers and students are already working diligently to prepare for the celebration. We encourage everyone to register and submit payment early to take advantage of the Early Bird discount, and to help the school make timely arrangements for all necessary orders.

Teachers will also begin reaching out to parents regarding the costumes and props needed for the February performances. Thank you all for your continued support and assistance!
