Pomona Valley Chinese School (PVCS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Chinese school currently located at Community Church Rancho in Rancho Cucamonga. Classes are held during the school year from late August to early June, on Saturday mornings 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Our ~120 students mostly come from the Inland Southern California foothill cites of Pomona, Claremont, Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Rialto, Ontario, San Bernardino, Chino Hills, Chino, La Verne, and Montclair. We have had students come from as far east as Big Bear City and as far north as Apple Valley! Since 1976, PVCS has served to educate the community in Chinese language and culture. PVCS has grown from its humble beginnings of a single classroom in a family garage to eleven classes of students between 4 years 9 months to 18 years of age. PVCS welcomes students of all language ability. In addition to our regular Chinese classes, we also offer English/Chinese bilingual classes, accreditation classes for high school students, and a wide variety of extracurricular activities.
