本週開始第四堂的文化課，上課時間將改成45分鐘一節課，每堂課的時間如附件說明，文化課的最終名單也請見附件。登記扯鈴的學生，每套扯鈴$30, 請來辦公室繳費或Zelle轉帳至 该邮件地址已受到反垃圾邮件插件保护。要显示它需要在浏览器中启用 JavaScript。, 轉帳請註明學生名字與Yoyo class, 謝謝大家配合！

由於課程時間調整，所以下課時間改成12點半。

文化課在不同教室進行，請家長接孩子時留意地點。

另外，竹竿舞（Bamboo Dance）課程需要家長協助幫忙敲竹竿。

學校發放的課間零食，依舊維持在前兩節下課，第三節下課由於接近午飯時間，就不再發放零食。

Starting this week, the fourth period cultural classes will begin. Each class will now be 45 minutes long. Please refer to the attached schedule for the updated class times, and see the attachment for the final class rosters.

For students registered in the Yo-yo (diabolo) class, each set costs $30. Please pay at the office or send a Zelle transfer to 该邮件地址已受到反垃圾邮件插件保护。要显示它需要在浏览器中启用 JavaScript。 When transferring, please include the student’s name and write “Yoyo class” in the note. Thank you for your cooperation!

Because of this schedule adjustment, dismissal time will now be 12:30 p.m.

Since cultural classes are held in different classrooms, please check your child’s location when picking them up.

In addition, the Bamboo Dance class needs parent volunteers to help tap the bamboo poles.

If you are willing to volunteer—or if your child is in the Bamboo Dance class—please join us to help. Thank you for your support!

The school will continue providing snacks after the first two periods. Since the third recess is close to lunchtime, no snacks will be distributed at that time.

The SCCCS Fall Academic Competition registration is closing soon. If you are interested in participating, please inform your teacher or the principal as soon as possible.

中文學校將於本週六（10/25/2025）11:30am举行万圣节的活动, 学生当天可以穿万圣节的服饰，也请各位父母为学生准备拿糖的提袋，也歡迎學生的兄弟姐妹一起來參加！有家长愿意捐赠糖果的，请週六拿到辦公室。谢谢您的支持，所以学校才能继续办这些活动提升小朋友来中文学校学习的意愿！！

文化課的登記名單請見附件，還有學生沒有登記，若在週六還未登記，就將由學校來幫忙安排學生的文化課程。

南加州中文學校聯合會的秋季比賽報名即將截止，若有興趣參加的學生，請盡快跟老師或校長報名！詳情請見附件！

The Chinese School will hold its Halloween event this Saturday (October 25, 2025) at 11:30 a.m.
Students may wear Halloween costumes that day. Parents, please prepare a candy bag for your child to collect treats. Siblings are also welcome to join!

If any parents would like to donate candy, please bring it to the office on Saturday.
Thank you for your continued support — it is because of your help that our school can keep hosting fun activities that encourage students to enjoy learning Chinese!

The cultural class registration list is attached. Some students have not yet registered. If registration is not completed by Saturday, the school will assign students to cultural classes accordingly.

The SCCCS Fall Competition registration deadline is approaching. Students who are interested in participating should contact their teacher or the principal as soon as possible. Details are included in the attachment.

亲爱的家长您好：

为庆祝普慕纳中文学校创校50周年，我们将于11月开始加入文化课的课程，课程内容请见附件。所以我们会将每一堂课变成45分钟，多加第四堂至12:30pm.  所以从11月开始，请12:30pm再到学校接学生。文化艺术特色课程的主要目的，是让学生在学习中华传统技艺的同时，培养团队合作与舞台表演的能力，并于50周年庆典中呈现成果。

请家长务必详阅以下报名规则：

文化课报名规则（2025–26）

1.    先到先得制

每班名额有限，报名依先后顺序录取，额满为止。

2.    开放报名时间

报名将于 2025年10月18日（星期六）上午10:00 开始。

3.    最终分班决定权

若报名人数超过限额，学校将依实际情况进行分配。

4.    志愿选填说明

每位学生可依照喜好顺序选择 三个不同的文化课（第一、第二、第三志愿）。若志愿课程额满，学校将依名额情况安排其他课程。

建议家长与学生事先讨论想报名的三个课程，报名連結https://forms.gle/CJ5ZHM1JTwbj6c8y6 將於週六10:00am開啟。

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pomona Valley Chinese School, we will begin offering cultural classes starting in November.   Please see the attachment for the course details.

To make room for these classes, each period will be adjusted to 45 minutes, and an additional fourth period will be added.
Therefore, beginning in November, student pick-up time will be at 12:30 PM.

The goal of these cultural and arts classes is to help students learn traditional Chinese skills while developing teamwork and stage performance abilities. Students will also have the opportunity to showcase their achievements at the 50th Anniversary Celebration.

Please read the following sign-up rules carefully:

 Cultural Class Sign-Up Rules (2025–26)

1️. First-Come, First-Served Basis
Each class has limited spots. Registration will be accepted in the order received until full.

2️. Sign-Up Opens
Registration begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

3️. Final Class Assignment
If a class reaches full capacity, the school will make the final decision to assign students to other available cultural classes.

4.Class Preference Selection
Each student may choose three different cultural classes in order of preference (First, Second, Third).
If your preferred class is full, the school will assign your child to another class according to availability.

We encourage parents and students to discuss their top three choices in advance.

謝謝家長們上週六（9/27/2025）參與中文學校的家長會，我們當場也宣布了在明年2026年2月21日，我們將會舉辦學校50週年慶，地點會在Delta Hotel Ontario Airport, 詳情會在本週六聚餐時再說明一次。

南加州中文學校聯合會的秋季學術比賽已經開始登記報名，內容有看圖作文、書法(硬筆、毛筆)、中文海報、著色比賽（幼稚組). 有興趣參加的學生請洽各班老師，或是跟我聯繫。

Hello Everyone!

Thank you to all the parents who joined our Parent Meeting last Saturday (9/27/2025). During the meeting, we also announced that our school’s 50th Anniversary Celebration will be held on February 21, 2026, at the Delta Hotel Ontario Airport. More details will be shared again this Saturday during our school dinner gathering.

This Saturday (10/4/2025), after classes, our school will host a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration. Please sign up as soon as possible and note what food you will bring. This will help the school prepare the rest of the food, as well as plates, bowls, and utensils.

The Fall Academic Contest organized by the Southern California Council of Chinese Schools is now open for registration. Categories include picture-based essay writing, calligraphy (pen and brush), Chinese posters, and coloring contest (kindergarten group). Students interested in participating may contact their class teacher or reach out to me directly.
