大家好！
本周六9/12/2026 即将开学，很开心能够在周六与大家相见！
学校没有饮水机，提醒家长们务必给学生带水来上学！
学校的校址是：9090 19th St. Rancho Cucamonga CA 91701 ，上课时间是周六上午9:00-12:00。教室有些位于2楼，请家长提醒学生注意安全，上下楼梯不要奔跑打闹！已注册的学生家长们都会收到各班老师的通知，有任何问题也都欢迎大家周六来学校提问！ 學生班級分配名單請見附件！
今年学校依旧会发给所有学生每个人一个专属的中文学校网域的google 帐号, 所以学生们都可以用这个帐号加入每位老师为班级设立的google classroom, 旧学生的帐号都可继续使用，所以学生或家长自行设立过的密码不变。新学生若已缴费，也都会将学生帐号陆续寄到每位家长的email信箱，每位新学生的帐号都是由学生的first
学校今年也会开设线上拼音班，主要是给低年级或CFL的班级，开课的日期从9/29/2026开始，每周二和周四晚上7:00-7:35, 共8周。学费校内学生$50, 校外学生$100。拼音班报名连结：https://forms.gle/gDnWoCXESUPh919J6 详情请见附件。

Hello everyone!
Our new school year begins this Saturday, September 12, 2026, and we are very excited to welcome everyone back and see you on Saturday!
Please note that there are no drinking fountains available at the school, so we kindly remind all parents to make sure your child brings a water bottle to school.

School Hours:
Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Some of our classrooms are located on the second floor. Please remind your children to be careful when using the stairs and not to run or play on the stairways.
Parents of registered students will receive information from their child’s teacher regarding their class. If you have any questions, you are also very welcome to stop by the school office and speak with us on Saturday.

PVCS Student Google Accounts
This year, PVCS will continue to provide each student with an individual PVCS Google account. Students will use this account to join the Google Classroom created by their teachers.
Returning students may continue using their existing accounts, and any passwords previously set by students or parents will remain unchanged.
For new students whose tuition has been paid, account information will be sent to the parent’s email address. Each new student’s account will follow this format:

After logging in for the first time, students may create their own password. Please make sure to remember the new password. We will also provide additional instructions after school begins if anyone needs assistance.
Online Pinyin Class
This year, PVCS will also offer an Online Pinyin Class, primarily designed for younger students and students in our CFL (Chinese as a Foreign Language) classes.
Class Dates: Beginning September 29, 2026
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 7:00–7:35 PM
Duration: 8 weeks
Tuition:

PVCS school uniforms are available for $10 each. New students, as well as returning students who have outgrown their current uniforms, may purchase a new one at the school office.

Some parents have also suggested offering additional enrichment classes next year beyond Chinese language instruction, such as lion dance, dragon dance, kung fu, cooking, and more. We would love to hear your thoughts and feedback as well. We warmly welcome everyone to come to school a little earlier at 11:00 AM to attend the presentation and join the discussion about next year’s programs and classes.
Registration for next school year has already begun, and the Early Bird discount will be available through May 31. We encourage families to register early so the school can better plan teacher assignments and class arrangements in advance.

This Saturday will be the last day of the school year. Please continue to bring students to school on time as usual. At 10:00 AM, we will hold our Student Performance and Award Ceremony. We warmly welcome all families to join us and celebrate the final day of the semester together.
This year also marks the 50th anniversary of Pomona Valley Chinese School — a very important milestone in our school’s history. We are truly grateful for the continued support, participation, and dedication from all of our students and families throughout the years. Your support has allowed PVCS to continue growing and passing on Chinese language and culture for half a century.

The SCCCS Summer Camp is now open for registration. We encourage interested students to sign up!

Community Event
The Lingyan Mountain Temple in Rancho Cucamonga will host a Vegetarian Fair and Fundraising Auction on Sunday, May 24.
